When we see it on the shelf, the pro-health properties of this product do not seem as spectacular to us as in the case of lime or acacia honey. However, we can quickly see how serious our mistake is. This light yellow or slightly straw-coloured honey owes its popularity not only to its exceptional taste, which, although delicate, is not free of a hint of bitterness and the fact that it crystallizes relatively quickly. It is its beneficial effect on our health that makes it the centre of attention more and more often.

Therefore, if we primarily expect to strengthen the body, which is particularly important during the period of increased incidence of cold and flu, we should dissolve one or two teaspoons of it in a glass of milk or water. There are no contraindications to consume such a preparation prophylactically throughout the autumn-winter period, however, one should not forget that the nutritional properties of honey are weakened if we subject it to high temperatures. The situation is slightly different when we want to benefit from the characteristic for this honey property of accelerating wound healing. In this case, it seems justified to apply externally, directly to the diseased tissue. The procedure can be performed without fear even with regard to purulent and necrotic fragments, and there is no shortage of people who believe that it may prove to be effective also in the case of scars. Of course, nothing stands in the way of starting the day by preparing a nutritious breakfast with him, and even trying to replace the classic sugar through him.
